Automation discovers possible stories. AI may help prepare a draft. A human editor is responsible for every published headline, factual claim, image, and social post.

Source attribution

Every aggregated story identifies and links to its reporting source. We use short excerpts for discovery and context; we do not republish full articles.

Accuracy

Summaries must distinguish confirmed facts from allegations, estimates, opinion, and open questions. Headlines must match the page. Breaking stories should avoid unsupported certainty.

How AI is used

AI can draft original summaries, suggest headlines, explain why a story matters, prepare SEO text, write social captions, identify verification questions, and create optional editorial illustrations. AI is instructed to use only the source excerpt and editor-provided verified notes. It cannot change a story to published status.

AI images

AI-generated images are labeled as editorial illustrations and are not presented as real photographs or evidence of an event. For real people and real events, we prefer properly licensed photography or clearly symbolic artwork.

Human review

Editors must open the original source, verify names, dates, quotes, numbers, allegations, and context, correct AI errors, and decide whether the page adds enough original value before publication.

Original value

Published pages should explain what happened, why it matters, what remains unclear, and what readers should watch next. A source headline plus an automated paraphrase is not enough.
